このコーヒーメジャーは匙部分は割り製材を2〜3個の銅の鎹で留めてあり強度自体は接着出来ているので問題なくご使用頂けます。

また、割りの部分がわかりやすいように赤く染められているのがとても趣深く愛着が持てます。

クラロウォルナットは一般的に広く木工芸品に使われている桜などと比べると柔らかい素材で、特にこの作品はとても細く削って作られているため、コーヒーメジャーとしてお使い頂くには十分な強度ですが雑に扱われますと割れてしまう可能性がございますのでご注意下さい。

お手入れにつきましては乾拭きで充分ですが洗ったりアルコール等で消毒した際は脱脂されるため
毛羽立つ事がございます。
その際はまだ湿った状態の時に布巾や手ぬぐいのような粗い目の綿の布で摩擦熱をかけるように拭いて頂くとワックスとは違う、木地自体に艶が出てまるで手入れされた古道具のような風合いになります。

拭く際に割れや折れを避けるために匙部を拭く時は匙部を、柄部を拭く時は柄部を持って拭いて下さい。
